How can I get rid of the Ask search/tool bar in my firefox? It simply just won’t go away?

Where the Ask area is on FF, you should see a small arrow, on the right side of it. Click on that and go down to where is says "Manage search Engines. Click on that and then a list of search engines will pop up. Highlight that and select remove. You might have to restart the program.

Are there different my web search tool bars?
I have read many articles about my web search and they say that its harmless or harmful. so which is it? So far i had it on my PC for 4 months and nothing bad is happening. So is my web search safe?
BTW I’m using vista
harmful, do not install.
just save yourself and use the yahoo or google websites.
another shortcut is if you type a ? in the address bar, and then what your searching for.
ex. ? windows 7
this would automatically run a search for windows 7

What is the name of the tool where you can search an address and a picture from the sky comes up?
The tool is something on the internet. If you type in the address it shows you the picture of the house from the sky and you can see the roof and you can see where a house is located. I’ve been trying to look for the site where you can do it. I’ve also been looking for the site in a search engine. Nothing has worked. I really want to use this tool.

XP search tool, i could i get back the old version?

Since the last update, i lost my Windows XP search tool. The new one is not finding anything.
How could i get back to the previous one.

Go into Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove "Windows Search 4.0" (or similar). That will revert the computer to the original search tool.

How do you delete information out of your search tool bar of the sites you visited?
In Internet Explorer select Tools then go to ur Internet option , and on the "content" bar, you could see AutoComplete, click on setting and delete forms and passwords
