Im making an obituary on excel of all the people in my town and after this is finished I’m not sure that I’ve typed each name correctly. Say I was supposed to type "John Smith" but accidentally typed "Joan Smitg" when I was making the obituary. How would I make it so the search would look for anything like Jo*n Smit* and then find John Smith later?

May be you should use MS word instead because it is a word processing job. Besides Word has a more powerful find and replace dialog(Ctrl+h), when the more button is click, it has more find options "sound like" and use wildcard that would enable the kind of search you specified. Then if you really need Excel to do some special task, copy back from Word to Excel.

You can go click on the "discover" tab and type in a key word. Yahoo will show you the questions that have been asked in the past. That way you don’t have to wait for an answer and I don’t have to wade through the same questions all in a row!

I want to search this bad movie and I want to know if that would be good to search on google or ask.

Google is the only search engine to use. Once, Google was down for a bit and I used something else. I found it did not give me what I was looking for. I had to wait for Google to come back, I found it right away. However, some notable searches:

IMDB (for your movie):
Has basically every movie you could think of and then some. Rated by users also most movies have a parental content advisory, cast listing, synopsis and way more.

Wolfram Alpha (knowledge search):
An ultimate tool for math, business, science, nutrition, boredom etc. Take the tour on it and check it out.

Bing (Microsoft’s answer to Google):
If Google doesn’t work, use this. It works OK.

Just remember though, Google does everything anyways. Check out some of the tutorial style documents on Google. Try writing define: before a word. Google becomes a dictionary. Write weather and the name of your city and it will give you weather. Math? Yep. Just type the equation. BEST OF ALL. I’ve been searching for a while and not come across it, but it strikes me as the ultimate search tool.
The ability to search a site/domain for all the pages contained within in.
For example you have a site… say… www.abcdef.com (for example, I don’t know ehat this is, just used the string to ask this question)
contained within that site are many pages…say 26…
www.abcdef.com/a to www.abcdef.com/z
AND.. each of those 26 has 2 "sub-pages" so that would make 78 pages in total, right?
is there any engine or program out there that would find all 76 pages?
I’d love to know if there is..

Unfortunatily we dont have any such tool or search engine which can do such type of job.
The keyword for which you are looking for depends upon the contents of website not the website.
In the first phase it looks for main wewsites(not the link embeded to that website)

I know by going to tools and deleting cookies,files,history you can delete from search engine but this does not delete the search phrases from the tool bars. help please

Right click on the search bar bit of the toolbar and then click on "Clear Search History"
