i just updated my firefox, and the google search tool has been changed to Yoog Search. its terrible and i will only use google. The research I’ve done so far says it was "hijacked" I don’t speak computer, but that sounds bad!! Help, can I change the search tool manually , or can i undo the firefox update?!?!?!

Sounds like you might have a good case of spyware, but you really should check to see what happend to your Google toolbar when you downloaded & installed Firefox. I don’t have or use Firefox, so I can’t tell you where to look for your toolbars.

I’m trying to understand what methods others are using when looking for keywords. I’m using google’s traffic estimator and keyword tool, however, it doesn’t seem to be very reliable when relating back to keywords that actually get traffic. Can anyone please help me out and let me know what you are using? I would be willing to put a link to your site for the advice.

You can use the Word Tracker and still use the Google Keyword Tool. Just try solving your KEI (Keyword Effective Index). KEI is the most accurate for keyword searches.

Click the settings button (avatar) on the Yahoo toolbar, click Add/Edit buttons. Make a custom button with the URL google.com.

Is there any software that not only tells you how many searches a keyword gets but also how much competiton them keywords also have.

For example :

Keyword seached 40,000 times per month

Google compertiton for that keyword is 100,000,000

Also google keyword tool seems to give me is the hits per month for the keyword, what im trying to ask is i want to know how many pages are in google associated with keywords I type in which brings up a list.

At present im having to type each keyword in google.com to find out how many pages it brings up, surely there is a quicker way which lists number or times a keyword is typed in per month and also number of pages associated with keyword on google.

Any help would be great, quite frustrating at present
Just to add.

Say for instance I used google tool v3 and searched the keyword "Cars"

It tells me how many times that month this keyword has been searched, however it doesn’t tell me how many pages are in google associated with that keyword Cars.

I was kinda hoping that some software does this.

Google Trends, Google Insight for Search and Google Analytics are all free tools you can use to monitor search engine performance.

I’m not exactly sure how you can compare that with the performance on other search engines but there are loads of companies that claim to be able to provide this kind of information, for a fee. I can’t comment on those.

I’ve also heard of Alexa who do some similar kind of trends and stats:

They rank their’s by something called "Reach" which is slightly different to the number of searches.

my google tool bar usually brings up suggestions to things i’m looking for, but recently it has stopped showing suggestions and it’s just blank, but if i type up something i’ve already looked at it appears. how can i fix this because i actually use the suggestion box.

Uninstall it and Re-Install it.

I can only seem to generate one url at a time using the Google Analytics url build tool

How do I do this for 300k keywords plus?

I already have an analytics account, and I am trying to create the tracking tags for my YSM campaigns so I can track conversions through Google Analytics.

I can only seem to create one tracking code at a time using the Google url builder, and was wondering if there is a quick way I can create the tags for multiple keywords?

As per our question,
first of follow you can create multiple Analytics Accounts.
Go with https://www.google.com/analytics
just see in right hand side My Analytics Accounts: choose Crete new account.

and another if you wand more than 300k than go with
View Reports -> traffic sources – >keywords->Show rows(100 -500) select
than you get it more multiple Search Marketing keywords.
