My website is page 1 on google and yahoo for my chosen keywords, yet I am not getting much traffic, why?
I researched the keywords on the google ads keyword tool and they appeared to have high search volumes, yet I am not getting if a thousanth of these searches predicted.
Hi Lala,
I would recommend the following
1. Use Google Webmaster tools to determine how many people have seen your website as a result of a search for your keyword – it will also tell you approximately what percentage of those people went to your website.
2. If there are in fact a lot of people searching for that phrase but not clicking on your website then you might want to modify the Title and Meta Description of the page to create a more compelling listing in the SERPs. (You might consider using Adwords as a fast way to test multiple types of ad copy – you can find out in just a couple days what messaging works best and incorporate that into your Title / Meta Description)
3. Also, bear in mind that by default the Adwords Keyword Tool will tell you the Broad Match Search Volume which will always be considerably higher than the Exact Match Search Volume because it will include synonyms and related phrases – there is a drop down menu on the right that lets you select Exact Match to find out how many people searched for that exact phrase.
4. Another thing to consider is the fact that for many phrases the difference between being on page one and being in the top 3-5 listings can be dramatic.
I hope that this clears up your problem and puts you on the path to developing great traffic!

I am looking for a search tool to retreive relevant documents and surveys related to managmnt & organization?
I am an internal consultant in a bank and would like to find a powerful search tool which could allow me download upon subscription relevant, up to date and credible documents and surveys related to management, organization, banking.
I have found a good tool for this sort of thing. It works very well once you learn its subtleties. Its located at www.google.com
How could I know the number of times that a specific search term has been searched in any country.?
I would like to know if there’s any available tool for searching the number of times a specific query has been searched in a specific country, there’s an overture tool but it just gives the results for 12 countries but I need to get the information of a not listed country. thanks
Try this site :

Is the overture keyword tool still available? If so, can someone give me a link?
Haven’t tried to use it in a while, now the site has changed and I can’t seem to find it, any help would be appreciated.
I like the top 3 links the best.

Which is the Best Keywords Research Tools you use so far?
I have tried the FREE keyword suggestion tool by WordTracker and the Keyword Tool from Google Adwords. Both work ok, but I just feel that they are just not comprehensive enough in terms of features. What tools do you use? Why is it better?
Free versions there are FREE keyword suggestion tool and Google Keyword Tool. This work fine, but I still prefer the better supported paid version such as Keyword Elite and PPC Web Spy.
They offer more indepth stats on the keywords and trends, that way I will be able to better tune my PPC campaign. Remember look at trends and put the related keywords in your PPC. Hope it help.

i want to buy a keyword tool for adsense and adwords which is best?
I want to buy a keyword tool for adsense and adwords. Please tell me which is cheaper and better.Thank you
You’d be crazy to buy..there are so many excellent free ones.
This one: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal is all you really need. Enter any keyword or phrase, select whether or not you want synonyms and search. This tool tells you the competitiveness of the keyword phrase (in terms of how many other people are bidding on it), approximate search volume for the month of March, and approximate search volume over a 12 month period. You can also (through a dropdown menu) either see the "broad" volume or "exact" volume. So if you’re searching for "health conditions", the broad will tell you any variation of those words i.e. "cancer health conditions", but the "exact" tells you the volume based on just that phrase.
This is the best one in my opinion. I discovered it through http://www.trafficvault.com which has a lot of cool tools (most, if not all were free). From what I’ve seen, if you want a Google-based tool chances are Google already has made one for free that beats anything else you can buy.
Hope this helps.
Where can I find the "overture keyword suggestion tool". it used to be htto://inventory.overture.com.
I’m not sure seems like it’s gone… I have been looking for the same thing. You may want to check out http://www.google.com/trends although it’s for google instead of yahoo
